Erik C. Roper, D. D. S.

Dr. Erik Roper, born in Miami, Florida and raised in Vienna, Virginia, received a Bachelor of Science degree from Bridgewater College before moving to Richmond to study Dentistry at the Medical College of Virginia. Upon graduating Cum Laude, Dr. Roper joined the United States Air Force Dental Corps, where he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency (AEGD). Through the residency, he became proficient in advance dental techniques, particularly in the utilization of IV Conscious Sedation for various surgical and general dentistry procedures.

After living in Texas and South Carolina with the Air Force, Dr. Roper was pleased to join W. Baxter Perkinson, Jr., D.D.S. and Associates at the Mechanicsville location in 1994.

He is very committed to continuing education, having earned his Fellowship Award from the Academy of General Dentistry, and with over 900 hours, is working towards his Mastership Award. Also committed to organized dentistry, Dr. Roper is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, and the Richmond Dental Society.

Dr. Roper enjoys his free time with his wife and 3 children doing various outdoor and water sports activities.
