Dr. Will Perkinson was born and raised in Richmond, VA. Being the son of a dentist he was exposed early to the career but didn't decide to become a dentist himself until the end of his tenure at the University of Virginia. After graduating with a B.A. in biology, he attended Virginia Commonwealth University's School of Dentistry where he graduated cum laude in 2002. He has been working at the Huguenot location ever since.

As a general dentist, Dr. Perkinson performs everything from fillings and root canals to implants. "I especially enjoy replacing missing teeth. We have more options than ever before with bridges, implants, and dentures. When you can't eat well, your overall health suffers." Dr. Perkinson has received advanced education in implantology and bone grafting procedures.

When not working, Will can be found playing mandolin in a bluegrass band or hiking in the mountains.
