Dr. Allison Smith Purcell was born and raised in Virginia Beach. She graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. After completing her studies at JMU, she came to Richmond to earn her dental degree at the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry. As an honor graduate, she was elected to the OKU Dental Honor Society. Dr. Purcell completed her specialty residency program in orthodontics at the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Purcell and her husband, Barry, enjoy traveling, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
