Dr. Cios was born in Japan in 1956 and grew up in California where he attended California Polytechnic State University. He received his dental degree from the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry in 1988.

Dr. Cios joined W. Baxter Perkinson, Jr., D.D.S., & Associates, Ltd. in 1989 and practices dentistry at the Huguenot Road location. He is an active member of the Richmond Dental Society, Virginia Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. Dr. Cios was voted "Richmond's Favorite Dentist" by Family Style Weekly in 2003.

Dr. Cios enjoys rock climbing, mountain biking, snow boarding, and motorcycling.
