Dr. Jeff Cash was born in Richmond, Virginia and raised in Bon Air. After graduation from Benedictine High School, he attended the University of Virginia where he majored in Biology. Upon acceptance to the Medical College of Virginias School of Dentistry, he returned to Richmond and pursued his lifelong goal to become a Dentist.
Dr. Cash was awarded his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree, cum Laude in 1997 and pursued a voluntary 2 year General Practice Residency at MCV and Hunter Holmes McGuire VA hospitals, serving as Chief Resident for the McGuire VA dental clinics in his second year.
During residency, he performed all aspects of general dentistry including fixed and removable prosthodontics, dental implant placement and restoration, surgical and non-surgical periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and restorative/cosmetic dentistry. His medical rotations included anesthesiology, internal medicine, cardiology, radiation oncology, emergency medicine, and endoscopy as well as classes on anxiety/pain control through the use of conscious I.V. sedation. He has also completed advanced education on implants at the Institute for Facial Esthetics in Fort Washington, PA. where he developed a love for the many aspects of implantology.
After residency, Dr. Cash opened his own practice in Richmond where he practiced several years. He also associated with several local practices before joining Baxter Perkinson and Associates in 2007.
When not in the office, Dr. Cash pursues numerous outdoor activities including hiking, camping, hunting, fishing and spending time with his wife and children.
