Dr. Catherine Perkinson Crichton is a Richmond native. She grew up with her father's dental practice, working during her summer breaks for the group. She knew at a young age that she wanted to be a dentist.

Dr. Crichton attended St. Catherine's school, and then received her BA with honors from the University of Virginia. She went on to Virginia Commonwealth University-Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry. As a senior dental student, Dr. Crichton won the "Outstanding Student" award in pediatrics, cosmetics, endodontics, and community service.

Dr. Crichton's passion in dentistry is cosmetics, from bleaching and bonding to ceramic crowns and veneers. She is married with two small children.
